know about the product they use for making a living.

You too should read that paragraph again. It seems I must've made a syntax
error there...

As you may have noticed, my mission on this list for the last 6 months has
actually been trying diss Director's future. Not because I'd like to see it
go, but because I think it *is*.
I want to make others look in other directions for their tools, so they're
not stranded when it's finally, officially, dumped.

This is about fairness and decency to me. I have risked my employment by
writing a long, extremely critical, letter to the CEO of a company which
employed me, about how they treated their employees (me not included). I
care deeply about these things.
