I'm constantly looking at new languages and trying to see where things are
going, but this is a trend I'm not aware of. Can you name a few of the
languages you see conquering the world, and why that is so?
If you're thinking of scripting languages (not "real" programming languages)
I can see where you're coming from, but I would argue that Flash *needs* a
programming language to be able to compete, performance- and feature-wise.
But a simpler scripting language like Lua could also be added, so newcomers
can get started quickly, and for easy scripting where performance isn't
crucial.
