I'll give it a try - although this tends to reduce the feeling of speed so
I'll need to be careful.
I mentioned in dir3D that my road border texture only being 1 sided is not
good either, makes judging corners very hard.

I may well change the 'you' blob on the map to include a direction indicator
to help that.
As for security - I think the DCR has the bog standard 'can't reframe'
stuff, but yeah you are are right I should treat it as if it were a proper
final release.
Stats for hits during test releases also isn't bad - I see your point about
list trawling for new games.
Fortunately this game will only be up at that address for a short while
longer (and the DCR itself changes name each time I do an update - I do a
build then rename the created html to index.htm so hopefully that should
make it not worth direct linking to in any form since at my current rate, a
build only lasts a couple of hours!).
The whole security thing is something I want to overhaul anyway given what
you guys have discovered over the last year or so (trouble is getting a
client to set up the server/client type of checks isn't going to happen -
we've only managed to persuade 1 client so far to implement server-side
decryption for high score submissions so any additional 'client' work is not
likely to be met enthusiastically!).
